Syllabus

This course is your opportunity to develop a practice that will develop for years to come. The tool of this class, FLASH, is too vast to cover in a comprehensive manner in fifteen weeks; moreover, they are evolving. You must take responsibility for learning outside of class. This includes locating and exploiting resources online, in books, and even your friends

We will begin with Flash as a linear animation tool, progress to multilinear narrative and end up plunging into scripted, dynamic, nolinear interactivity.

This syllabus below is a rough roadmap of what lies ahead. I will adjust and adapt it to our situation.

I expect a significant amount of independent learning. If you are falling behind, it is your responsibility to let me know. Please contact me outside of class.

Attendance is mandatory. Per the CCA Design department guidelines, three absences means you lose a grade point.

No late assignments will be accepted.
